This article describes the process to resolve the error, which does not allow the user to edit or update a document. The error shown is as follows:

Process

You can follow the steps mentioned below, as a workaround:

1. Copy everything from the document which is throwing the error.
2. Create a new document.
3. Paste all information and attach files if needed.
4. Save and Publish.
5. You should be able to update this new document.
6. Delete the old document.
