Overview

When users click a Mailto: button or link in the Jive portal, a blank browser tab opens.

• You had enabled the “mailto:” tag to automatically open up outlook so that users can share suggestions via email.
• This is redundant and not required.

Prerequisites

This applies to Hosted and On-Premise instances only.

Solution

This is a known issue that has been fixed in Jive HOP 9.7. If you are on an older version of Jive, please upgrade your instance to the latest version.
