Overview

Your Jive Jive HOP (Hosted and On-Premise) instance triggers DB deadlocks related to the activityArchiveTask ETL. This causes performance degradation. You would like to know how to prevent DB deadlocks.

Solution

This is a known issue that was identified as a bug and fixed in Jive HOP (Hosted and On-Premise) 9.7.1.

There have been newer releases after this, so you may choose to upgrade to the latest version as well, this is recommended approach. Please refer to the Jive Hosted and On-Premise Release Schedule for more information.
