Overview

You notice that after upgrading your Jive Hosted/On-Premise instance to Jive 9.7.2, the new users created in the LDAP are not automatically synced to Jive using the scheduled User Sync task. The users can still log in to Jive as their profiles are synced during login, but you expect their profiles to be synced automatically using the User Sync task that runs on a specific schedule.

Solution

This was identified as a bug and fixed in Jive HOP 9.9 release with the issue key JVHOPST-54943 (release notes on Worx). Please get in touch with your Account Manager/Executive for planning an upgrade. Instance upgrade is outside the scope of Jive Support.

Testing

After the upgrade, the User Sync task should sync the new users from LDAP as expected.
