Overview
This article describes how can you get the Advanced Navigation/Mega Menu add-on installed on your instance. Advanced Navigation add-on, previously called the Mega Menu add-on, allows you to customize the look and feel of your community's navigation to help your users easily find what they're looking for. You can also adjust the navigation structure with an easy drag-and-drop menu builder, add images and text elements, and use visibility rules to target based on language, profile field, or user group.
Information
Installing the Advanced Navigation add-on requires Professional Services engagement. Please note that Professional Services engagements may incur additional charges. You can get in touch with your Account Manager/Executive for more details.
Installation
Please note that the Advanced Navigation add-on's configuration during the installation requires the use of an unfederated user account (not authenticated using Single Sign-on) with full admin access over the instance.
In order to facilitate the installation, please contact us so that ATLAS can assist you. If you are not satisfied with the solution provided by ATLAS, then it will create a ticket for you on which you can provide the below information:
- An unfederated user account with full admin access that can be used by Professional Services.
- Your permission to enable Form-based login (Non-employee login in Jive) temporarily during the configuration of the add-on. You can also enable it yourself by going to Admin Console > People > Settings > Login Settings, checking the Enable Form-based Login box, and clicking on Save Settings.

If you already have the add-on installed, you can refer to the Advanced Navigation Add-On: Configuration Guide on configuring the add-on.
This add-on requires the system property customer.header.html.enabled
to be set as true
. If not done already, you can set these yourself if you have an on-premise instance, and Cloud/Hosted customers can contact us to facilitate it.
