Overview

Nitro Studio console, a part of the Advanced Gamification system developed by Bunchball, has an identified issue as confirmed by the Bunchball support team which stops the users from logging in using any Chromium-based browser such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Nitro Studio console may also be referred to as Gamification Console in your Jive community.

Diagnosis

When you try to log in to the Gamification Console from your Jive community, you are redirected to the login page with the error message as below. Any successive login attempts fail with the same error as well.

Cross Site Request Forgery Validation Error: Try logging in again.

Solution

Please use a different web browser such as Mozilla Firefox to log into the Nitro Studio console as a workaround.

The issue occurs because of a new change in how Chromium-based browsers accept third-party cookies which impacts Nitro Studio's performance. The Bunchball team is evaluating the situation and may address this in a future product release but there is no ETA for a fix at this time.
