Migrating from Bunchball Advanced Gamification to Jive Playbox

Overview

If you previously used native Jive Status Levels (Basic Gamification) or Bunchball (Advanced Gamification), you can migrate the game results to Jive Playbox.

Before you switch to Playbox, read this article on Playbox Migration Considerations to be familiar with the limitations of what you can migrate.

This article provides more information for downgrading your gamification system from the third-party Bunchball, so you can switch to the Jive Playbox (Rewards) add-on.

To move away from Bunchball's Advanced Gamification, you need to contact us or contact Jive through this form. Since Bunchball is a paid additional third-party application developed by Nitro for its gamification module, ensure that you have checked the contract terms and agreement for your Bunchball purchase when considering the switch to Playbox.

Not all gamification data can be transferred from Bunchball to Playbox. There are several differences between these two gamification systems. Bunchball has missions, places, and ranking. On the other hand, in Playbox, only events and quests exist along with a member's status level. The difference in terminologies makes it challenging to transfer everything.
