Overview
This article provides an introduction to managing permissions for 'Blogs' in Jive and leads to further articles on the topic.
Information
Jive offers different permission settings for allowing (or restricting) access to blogs.
Blog Permission Levels
Managing permissions for blogs in Jive happens at two levels:
Global
These permissions allow users to view, create, and comment on global blogs, such as the system and personal blogs, neither of which belong, strictly speaking, to a place. For details on how to manage permissions for these, please visit Managing Global Blog Permissions.
Non-Global
These permissions allow users to view, create, and comment on blogs which are associated with specific places (e.g., spaces, social groups, and projects). For details on how to manage permissions for these, please visit Managing Non-Global Blog Permissions.
