Overview
This article provides the solution for when the Theming tool can't change the community logo because the theme used is a Custom Theme.
Information
First, it is important to understand how to change the community logo:
- Non-Custom Theme:
- Go to Themes.
- At the top left side of the screen, click on the blue button next to the Jive Logo.
- Click on Branding Header > Image and choose a file to be your new Logo image.
- Custom Theme:
- In a custom theme, the blue button next to the Logo will not show.
- There is no action needed from the Jive's side as the modifications will take place on the Theme zip file.
- The Custom Theme should be modified with the required updates and then imported back again to Jive.
- In a custom theme, the blue button next to the Logo will not show.
If the customer is using a Custom Theme, please ask them to contact whoever manages their theme and apply the modifications, and then import the Theme back to Jive as this is beyond the scope of our support.
