Overview

When LDAP is integrated into Jive's environment to manage user groups, it provides access to space and permission. In the future, if the user plans to move from one LDAP/Directory Server to others, the following questions might arise:

• What will happen to the user group?
• Will it get sync to Jive user group?
• Do they again need to recreate the groups manually?

Environment

Jive Hosted, On-Premise and Cloud

Resolution

The user group created with LDAP integration would remain available in Jive. Therefore, there is no need to recreate the group.
