When Restoring a Previous Version of a Document, The Error Message 'An unexpected error has occurred' Appears

When trying to restore a previous document version, the error message "An unexpected error has occurred" appears.

Contact us so that ATLAS can assist you. If you are not satisfied with the solution provided by ATLAS, then it will create a ticket for you on which you can attach the below information:

  1. The username or email address of the user receiving the error message.
  2. The time that they received the message.
  3. The address of the document.
  4. The number of the version they're trying to restore.
  5. A HAR file attached.

Jive On-Premise

Please follow these steps:

  1. Login to Jive as a user with the Full Access permission level.
  2. Reproduce the issue.
  3. Browse to Admin Console > System > Settings > Cluster.
  4. Make a note of the web server node highlighted in yellow.
  5. Collect the sbs.log and sbs.out log files (typically located in /usr/local/jive/var/logs) from the web server node you identified in Step 4. You can do this by following these steps:
    1. Log in to the web server through the command-line interface.
    2. Change your account to the jive user by running the command: sudo su - jive
    3. Browse to this folder: /usr/local/jive/var/logs
    4. Transfer the sbs.log and sbs.out files to your computer.
  6. Contact us so that ATLAS can assist you. If you are not satisfied with the solution provided by ATLAS, then it will create a ticket for you on which you can attach the below information:
    1. The username of the user receiving the error message.
    2. The time that they received the message.
    3. The address of the document.
    4. The number of the version they're trying to restore.
    5. The log files from Step 5 attached.
    6. A HAR file attached.
