Users Unable to Mark Jive Notification Inbox Items as Read

Overview

Users are unable to mark any inbox items as read. New messages and notifications are not appearing in inboxes.

  • This is a recent issue and was working fine previously.
  • The user goes to Jive Inbox in the browser and reads an outstanding item. The item becomes non-bold. Upon refreshing the page, the item goes back to being unread.

 

Prerequisites

This article applies to Jive On-Premise Instances only.

Solution

This can be resolved by rebuilding the EAE Streams
