Overview

Jive Federated Search enables you to search your connected SharePoint sites directly from Jive. To perform a Federated Search, you must be logged into the connected SharePoint site.

Process

1. Click the magnifying glass icon at the top right corner.
   
   
2. In the Search field that is displayed, click Enter.
   The Search page is displayed.
   
   
   
   
3. Under Bridged Communities, click the connected SharePoint site as configured by the system administrator.
   
   
4. In the Search box, type in your search term and click Search. Search results from the connected SharePoint site are displayed.
   
   
   
   

Search results are limited to 50 items. If you want to see more results, click View more results from SharePoint portal at the top of the results list.

Confirmation

The connected SharePoint site is displayed with additional search results.
