Overview
You are getting errors/alerts on many add-ons (A List, TemboSocial, HTML Tile, etc.) on the add-ons page.
- Most of the errors say
"Error in unpacking public resources of addon"
. -
There are other errors as well.
(ClientAppDeliverNotification failed and no fallback available.). Make sure the client and marketplace are reachable. Check the application log for more details.
An error occurred sending instance registration to client 'https://streamonce.eu-aws.jivehosted.com/jive/oauth/register' (ClientAppDeliverNotification failed and no fallback available.). Make sure the client and marketplace are reachable. Check the application log for more details.
- Sometimes the alerts go if you try to unpack again but sometimes they do not.
Solution
Unpacking Public Resources
The “Unpacking Public Resources” error is often due to a bug. If you are seeing this on multiple add-ons, please contact us. A previously known bug was fixed in Cloud 3006.3.

See a related Jira below:

However, if you are seeing these alerts on add-ons that are not supported, either because they are custom developed or because they are retired, customer support may not be able to help fix the alerts. Some such add-ons are:
- A List
- DES-2
- Prod
- TemboSocial - it is recommended to request content creators to reconfigure or reinstall the add-on
Please see the Jive Solutions article for details of which Add-Ons are supported.
Other Errors
Formatted text tile, Slideshow tile, Grid Layout tile, and RSS tile may show the below error message:
(ClientAppDeliverNotification failed and no fallback available.). Make sure the client and marketplace are reachable. Check the application log for more details.
Advanced HTML tile may show a similar error message:
An error occurred sending instance registration to client 'https://streamonce.eu-aws.jivehosted.com/jive/oauth/register' (ClientAppDeliverNotification failed and no fallback available.). Make sure the client and marketplace are reachable. Check the application log for more details.
Our Professional Services team has confirmed that these error messages do not affect the features involved with the addons. Therefore, the alert can be safely ignored.
Further Diagnosis
If you would like to further diagnose this issue you can:
- Attempt to reconnect to the service.
- Verify the Addons are running the latest version available, if the version is outdated, please update as needed and test the addon feature one more time.
