Overview
By default, the Admin Console login page for Jive Communities is accessible by anyone that can access the Jive Community. By setting special IP restrictions, access to the Admin Console login page can be restricted to increase the security of your community.
Solution
- Get the IP addresses that should have the access to the Admin Console login page in CIDR notation. Please note that any other IP address will not be able to access the Admin Console page. This does not affect the main login page for using the community.
- For Jive Hosted instances, set the IP restriction as Whitelist for
/admin
page and input the IP addresses. For Jive Cloud instances, please contact us so that ATLAS can assist you. If you are not satisfied with the solution provided by ATLAS, then it will create a ticket for you on which you can include the IP addresses that should have access to the Admin Console login page.

For Jive Cloud instances, you will need to locate the customer's instance in the Jive Cloud Admin and add IP restrictions for /admin
section.
