Overview
On your Jive on-premise instance, you notice that the space in the partition where /usr/local/jive
is held is filling up to 100% of the disk capacity. This also causes the logrotate script on the affected node to not split the log files at the designated split size.
Solution
- Disable SELinux on the affected node. The instructions for this would depend on your Operating System (instructions for RHEL 6).
- Adjust permissions on the logs using the following command on the affected node:
semanage permissive -a logrotate_t
- Remove the
binaryBody*
files from/usr/local/jive/var/work
. This folder contains the residue Document Conversion files that have persistent copies stored in the binstore (/opt/jiveBinaryStore
). Hence thebinaryBody*
files stored in the/usr/local/jive/var/work
directory can be safely removed to free up used disk space.
