Overview
This article provides the procedure to enable the system setting for allowing non-group members to review and edit content shared with them from a private group in Jive.
Information
If the setting is enabled in the system, users who have Create Group (Private) permissions can configure private groups to allow members to share documents and discussions with non-members. The non-members can then review and edit the shared content but cannot see any other items in the group.
Process
To enable content editing for non-members in the system:
- Navigate to Admin Console > System > Settings > Non-member Content Editing.
- Select Enable non-member content editing.
- Click Save.
Confirmation
With the system setting enabled, users with Create Group (Private) permissions see the option to allow non-member content editing when they are creating (or editing) a private group.
