Overview
When restoring a document to an earlier version, the document is placed in a Published state even though it is in a Draft state and should not be changed.

Jive Hosted 9.0.4 / 9.0.5 / 9.0.6
Reproduction Steps
- Create a document with the title:
Document 1and save as Draft. - Edit the Document and save it (as a draft) as
Document 2. - Edit the Document and save it (as a draft) as
Document 3. - Edit the Document and save it (as a draft) as
Document 4. - Edit the Document and save it (as a draft) as
Document 3. - We see that version 5 and version 3 are same and identical.
- Click on manage version. All five versions displayed.
- Click on restore of version 3. Version 3 is published and the remaining draft versions are no longer displayed.
Root Cause
Software defect: JVHOPST-2840
Resolution
This is fixed in Jive 9.0.7.
