Overview
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates for Cloud or Amazon Web Services (AWS) instances have a ninety-day duration. Sometimes the customer will have custom applications that need to communicate with their Jive instances. Therefore, the SSL certificate must be added to the trusted certificate list on that app.
Adding a root certificate to the trusted certificate list will keep the application communicating with the instance without the need to add the new certificate to the trusted certificate list every ninety (90) days.
