Reproduction Steps

Follow these steps to reproduce the behavior in your environment:

  1. Create a blog with an embedded video in a private blogging place.
  2. Publish the blog in a public place via the delegate access app.
    • Current Behavior: Admins of the system are able to play the embedded video. However, the registered non-admin users with viewing rights get the following error:  You are not authorized to view this content.
    • Expected Result: All users with viewing rights can view and play the video without any error.

Root Cause

Embedded links are still referencing videos from private places where the documents/blogs were first created before moving to public spaces. This is a known defect which was fixed in a later release.
