Overview

You notice that during a scheduled migration activity in your instance, Jive displays a 502 Bad Gateway error instead of the expected maintenance page in the middle of the migration activity.

Information

This is expected during the database dump and restore phase of the migration activity as the installation needs to be completely stopped. This phase usually takes about 15-20 minutes for typical instances, however, the time may extend from a few hours to a few days based on the instance size.
