Overview
You want to restrict/block Jive emails from going to email addresses with specific domains. E.g. @yahoo.com or @gmail.com, etc. You want to stop email notifications for the above, for all types of notifications (discussions, mentions, etc.)
Information
This functionality to restrict emails by domains is not available out-of-the-box in Jive.
The below options can serve as workarounds:
- Disable outgoing emails entirely: this can be done by modifying the instance properties via the admin console. All users will no longer receive email notifications (administrator permissions needed to perform this change). More information in the article Globally Disabling or Enabling Email Notifications.
- Modify preferences: The users we need to stop receiving email notifications will need to modify their preferences so no notifications are sent to them. More information is in the article How to Configure Jive Email Notification Preferences (for end-users).
If none of the above workarounds meet your needs, you can consider contacting your Customer Success Manager or Account Manager and engaging Professional Services.
