While trying to set up integration between Jive and Office 365 or SharePoint Online, you may see the following error:
Sharepoint tenant authorization with Jive Failed.
You must use admin user to activate integration. Please login with admin user and click on Authorization app again.
This occurs due to the mismatch of the user account being used to set up the integration.
While following the setup instructions listed in Setting up the Office 365 integration add-on, please ensure to use the same Office 365 account (generally a service account) throughout the process. Using different accounts can cause the Jive App Identifier Token (generated in the Jive-Office integration app on SharePoint) to not work as it is tied to the account.
If you were using different accounts and seeing this error, it is recommended to start the integration process from scratch to avoid any conflicts.
