When you use screen-reader software such as JAWS to access a carousel tile in your Jive Cloud community, the software can't detect all of the slides in the tile, causing it to not provide any new information when the slide on the page changes.
To comply with WCAG 2.0, all of the slides in the carousel tile have to be in a list at the HTML level. Currently, carousel tiles are changing the HTML code of the slide on the page whenever the next slide is loaded, making them non-compliant with accessibility guidelines.
This issue has been reported to the Jive Engineering Team. Aurea/Jive is committed to supporting most accessibility needs up to WCAG 2.0 Level AA.
To identify if this issue has been resolved in the latest version of Jive Cloud, review the Jive Cloud Core release notes for the code JVCLD-109918. For more information on the status of the fix to this issue, please contact your account executive/customer success manager referencing that code.
