Overview
Some users are reporting an issue where images that they insert into documents are unclear or blurry after the documents are published. For example, after publishing a document that has an image of a table with icons and text, the text in the image is fuzzy or not easily readable.
This article describes a possible cause of this issue.
Information
This issue can be caused by the display resolution on the devices being used to access Jive being lower than the recommended minimum display resolution of 1024x768. If this is the case, Jive recommends that the user uses a device with a display resolution that is above this minimum if possible.
To check if this is the cause of this problem, please ask the user to check the display resolution of the device they are using. These steps can be followed for Microsoft Windows 10 or Apple OS X:
- Windows 10:
- Click on Start.
- Click on Settings.
- Click on System, then Display.
- Check the value of the display resolution field.
- Text like 1920x1080 should appear. If the number on the left is smaller than 1024, or the number on the right is less than 768, this means the device's display resolution is outside the minimum recommended display resolution for Jive.
- OS X:
- Click on the Apple icon on the top left of the screen.
- Click on About This Mac.
- Click on More Info, then System Report.
- Click on Hardware.
- Click on Graphics/Display.
- Check the value of the Resolution field. If the number on the left is smaller than 1024, or the number on the right is less than 768, this means the device's display resolution is outside the minimum recommended display resolution for Jive.
