Jive Cloud or Hosted.
This issue has been identified as a defect. Whenever an API request takes more than 3 minutes to complete, the CloudFront caching server for your instance will return a 504 code.
The following are temporary workarounds that can be used:
- Reducing the count parameter of the API queries that are receiving this response code. For example, if the API queries that are failing have a count value of 100, you can reduce this to 25 or 50.
- Reducing the number of filters being used in the query, or the values being used in the filters. For example, if the query is using "filter=type(document, file, post)", you can convert that to 3 different queries for each content type.
