Overview

This article explains if it is possible to export multiple documents at once, and provides possible workarounds.

Solution

There is no option to export multiple documents out of the box, but if you want, you can achieve the result in three ways:

• The first option is to engage the Jive Professional Services, through your Account Manager. They will help you to find the best solution to your needs and, if necessary, develop a custom solution for you.
  Note: Iron Core tier customers should redirect their concerns to inquiries@aurea.com 
• The second option is to build your own tool using the Jive extensive API library. At a minimum, the script will need to iterate through all places and retrieve all documents.
• The third option is to set up the Records Retention Extension (which, depending on your contract, may require an additional fee), that exports all documents that are created in your instance. You could potentially store the documents also in a separate place, once they are exported by the Retention Extension
