After the end of the contract, the customer's instance is suspended, and customers do not have access to it anymore.

Unless there are any special contractual obligations in place, Jive is not required to keep the customer's instance alive for any more time after the contract has expired.
It's up to the Jive Account Managers team, in case, grant an extension if required, after a special agreement has been reached.
In case your instance has been suspended, be aware that it is just the first step in a process that will be concluded with the deletion of the instance about 90 days after the expiration. Your data is still available in the backend. But please contact your Account Manager as soon as possible in order to arrange a special extension.
