Email notifications are not being received for system announcements. Users are receiving the Jive Inbox notifications for system announcements but not the email notifications.
The email notifications are dependent on the community's and user's email preferences. To adjust these preferences, please see the article Creating community-wide announcements and refer to step 8:
- Community email preference: Decide whether to send a notification about the announcement by selecting or clearing the Send Inbox notifications check box.
- User email preference: Users who have their Inbox: Activity preference set to provide email notifications (this is the default setting) receive an email as well as seeing the announcement displayed in Activity pages.
