Overview

Currently, every Thursday Jive sends two automated emails to the company employees. The customer/company would like to learn how to control these on the back-end.

Resolution

 The News Digest is a summary of community news that you can choose to receive by email.

1. To receive the News Digest, click your avatar > Preferences.

2. Answer Yes to Receive notifications?, and select Email.

3. Select a frequency from the drop-down list.

   The digest includes:

   • Your status. If you have entered a status message, it will be here.

   • A list of activity around your content. If you have created or commented on content, for example, it will be listed here. This list will also include notes about the content of yours that was viewed or commented on by others.

   • A list of activity by people connected to you.

   • A list of popular content in the community.

     The links in the digest open-content right in the community.

4. To cancel the News Digest, click your avatar > Preferences and unselect Email.

Note: If the community contains no activity, the digest is not sent.
