When creating a piece of content with multiple images, the image chosen for the thumbnail for streams and top and trending might not display what is expected.
The position of the images added does not determine the thumbnail. This is determined by which image is added first.
Images uploaded from our computer are stored in binary storage and given a sequence number which eventually determines the thumbnail.

If your post has multiple images and you do not see the expected image as the thumbnail, check the URL links of each image.
