This article provides information on how to resolve issues pertaining to private events not generating notifications (neither inbox nor email) for invites.

- Jive HOP 9.0.6
- Create a private event.
- Invite a second account to it with a private message.
- Check that second account's email address.
- Email is received with the message.
- New notification item in the inbox.
- Awaiting Response area is updated with the new invite.
- No email is ever received.
- No notification is received by inbox.
- Awaiting Response area has no invite.
Setting the system property
true in the admin console will give the expected result.
This issue was fixed in HOP 9.2.
