Overview

Users that are being removed from Active Directory (AD) are not being removed from Jive. 

Environment

• Jive Interactive Intranet
  • External Service Integration

Resolution

• LDAP only affects federated users. 
• Federated users are users who are authenticated against an external repository, namely AD/LDAP or SSO.
• Unfederated users (AKA local users) are authenticated against the local Jive database. 
• If users are not being deactivated in Jive when removed from AD, confirm that the users are federated.
