Overview

This article describes how to set a common Landing Page for all the users in a community. Currently, each user can set their own Personal Home Page (or landing page) in the preferences. The procedure described overrides this option for all the users in that community.

Process

Setting up a Common Landing Page for a Community

• Set the System Property  skin.default.landingpage=/welcome.
  • Where /welcome can be different and includes the name/link of the common Landing Page which the customer wants to set universally.

Removing Option for Users to Set up Their Own Personal Home Page in Preferences

• Set the System Property skin.default.usersChooseHomepage=false.

Note: only On-Premise customers can set these properties by themselves. Hosted and cloud customers should open a ticket in the Jive Support Portal.
