Overview
Customer is unable to submit a .js file to their statics area.
Environment
Jive Interactive Intranet - Jive Core - Hosted - 9.0.6
Visible Issue or Error
No error message is generated, simply does not show the .js file as being uploaded.
Reproduction Steps

Go to 9.0.6 instance.

Set user permissions to allow Save Javascript Files (Can be found in Admin Console > Permissions > Home Page Permissions).

Go to a group.
-
Click Manage > Settings.

Select a .js file.
-
Try to upload.
Resolution
Check please the following configuration:

Go to System Admin > System > Management > System Properties.

Check the following system property:
jive.statics.whitelist
= image/gif, image/jpeg, image/png, image/bmp, text/html, text/css, text/javascript, text/plain. -
In order to accept .js files, this must be included:
text/javascript
into the value of the system property.
Note: only On-Premise customers can set these properties by themselves. Hosted and cloud customers should open a ticket in the Jive Support Portal.
