Transferring Page Elements and Creating a 3-Column Layout

Overview

Users may encounter difficulties when trying to transfer page elements from a sandbox environment to a live page on the Jive platform. Additionally, users may struggle to create a page with a 3-column layout, as the option to do so is not immediately apparent during the initial creation of a space.

Solution

To transfer page elements from a sandbox environment to a live page, you will need to manually move the elements as there is no direct method to achieve this within the system's capabilities.

To create a page with a 3-column layout, follow these steps:

  1. Create a new space. Note that the option to configure the page layout, including a 3-column layout, is not available during this initial creation.
  2. After the space is created, create a new page within this space. The option to select a 3-column layout will be available during this process.

Summary

While the Jive platform does not support a direct method for transferring page elements from a sandbox to a live page, users can manually move these elements. Additionally, while the option to create a 3-column layout is not available during the initial creation of a space, it becomes available when creating a page within the newly created space.
